New Jersey-based non-profit World Vegan Vision participated in the Environmental Expo on September 14, 2024, an event that also partnered with AmeriCorps, FEMA, and other organizations.
The WVV was represented by New Jersey Chapter President Kalindi Bakshi, along with committee members Abha Devrajan and Global Public Relations Director Nitin Vyas.

According to WVV, it made a notable impact at the event by showcasing World Vegan Vision’s mission before a diverse audience including volunteers from Sewa, Parsippany Mayor Barberio, Livingston Mayor Anthony, veterans, the police chief, and firefighters.

“Through meaningful dialogues and educational displays, they effectively promoted a compassionate, healthier lifestyle,” organizers said in a press release.
Kalindi Bakshi expressed appreciation for the chance to engage with the community and highlighted the significance of raising awareness about the benefits of a vegan lifestyle for health and the environment.
The organization specially thanked Sewa volunteers Lakshmi Bhoopalam, Leena Bhatt, and the entire Sewa Team for facilitating World Vegan Vision’s participation.
