Virginia Sharma moves from Google Cloud India to take up global position in US

Virginia Sharma, till now the marketing head at Google Cloud India, has been appointed head of marketing for Google Cloud Public Sector. She moves from India to take up her new office in Virginia, US.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Marketing Google Cloud Public Sector at Google!” Sharma announced Jan. 2, 2024, on Linkedin.

Prior to joining Google, Sharma worked at JioSaavn, an audio OTT platform as vice president for brand solutions for 2 years, according to afaqs! News service. At JioSaavan she was responsible for the adoption of the company’s new advertising solutions for brands.

Sharma has 23 years of experience under her belt in areas of marketing and sales. She was with Linkedin for five years, and at IBM for more than 15 years, afaqs! said.
