Veteran producer Vashu Bhagnani forays into Animation

Vashu Bhagnani’s DB Films and Animation aims to Dream Bigger (DB) and create top-class entertainment content for families across the world, focusing on animation, edutainment, production, distribution, digital media exploitation, licensing and merchandising, gaming, AR/VR (Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality) and other emerging technologies.

Starting his career as a producer in 1995 with a bang with the super-hit, Coolie No. 1, Vashu’s fame soared with films such as Hero No. 1 (1997), Pyaar Kiya to Darna Kya and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (both in 1998), Biwi No. 1 (1999), Mujhe Kuchh Kehna Hai (2001), F.A.L.T.U. (2011), BellBottom (2021) and others, earning him the title of “Producer No. 1” in the industry.

Vashu has already announced his live-action slate for 2023-2024, appealing to film buffs across genres, including action, drama, comedy, suspense, romance, social and more. The lineup includes Ganapath, a second Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, his Production no. 45 and two more biggies. The company is also home to some of the biggest film stars in the country.
