Uorfi Javed turns shaayar as she DMs celebs to follow her

The name needs no introduction: Uorfi Javed has let her life unfold with the unscripted show, Follow Kar Lo Yaar, on Prime Video. She has already taken the internet by storm with her candor and bold looks, but hernew reality show aims to unearth a new side of the multi-faceted personality, and it is showing one already!

The fashion icon has found a new way to engage not only her fans, or haters (as she believes them to be!) but also some big industry names. While promoting her new show, Uorfi displayed her “pen-womanship” with hilarious two-liners, asking some big names like Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Diljit Dosanjh, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Alia Bhat, Shraddha Kapoor, Kiara Advani and others to follow her!

Uorfi shared screenshots of sliding into DMs of the Who’s Who of the industry. Writing to Diljit, Uorfi said, “Telephone ka lamba taar, Aap mere favorite sardar. Ab Issi baat pe #FollowKarloYaar.” As Shraddha Kapoor is riding on the success of her latest horror comedy, Stree 2, Uorfi congratulated the actress and wrote, “Amazon ka subscription nahi hai free lekin mujhe follow kar lo Stree.”

She even DM-ed the hottest couple in the tinsel town, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas, where she wittily wrote a banger of a couplet for Nick, saying, “Pulao me jeera, Mera jeeja heera. Jeeju please #FollowKarloYaar.” Priyanka Chopra Jonas received “Vodka ka shot, Priyanka sabse hot, Ab is baat pe please #FollowKarLoYaar.” And Ranveer Singh got “Khaane mein aaj biryani hai, Ranveer Singh toofani hai, ab to #FollowKarloYaar.”
