Shree Siddhivinayak Temple holds fundraising concert headlined by DHUN Musical Group

DHUN Musical Group , USA was back again with the 4th Edition of their annual fund-raising concert for the Siddhivinayak Temple in Toms River, Saturday May 20, 2023,

According to organizers, it was a record attendance at the singing event which was successful from the get-gpt, from the meticulous planning to the flawless execution, a press release.

Despite challenging weather and steady rain since morning, what looked like it was going to be a washed out event, “turned into a lovely evening with mesmerizing performances one after the other and record turnout,” a press release said.

Dhun Musical Group, founded Rajeev Singh, has been actively serving the community through their performances to for various fundraising events and hosting musical events of its own while keeping its vision to find , develop and provide platform to talents, particularly lesser known, organizers said.
The Chief Guest was India’s Consul General in New York Randhir Jaiswal. Other community leaders and dignitaries included FIA chairman Ankur Vaidya, Bihar foundation chairman and FIA BOT/ past president Alok Kumar, Bihar Jharkhand Association of North America Ptesident Anurag Kumar, BJANA vice-president Sanjeev Singh, BJANA past presidents Shashi Sinha and Vinay Singh, Bihar Foundation vice chairman Ranjeet Kumar, and  community media person Jyotsna Sharma

The event was inaugurated with a prajwalan ceremony by the chief trustees of the temple Dr Geeta Gupta, and the chairman Dr Avinash Gupta. The “lead-host” of the event Anubha Raj, incorporated interactive elements to create a memorable experience for everyone, organizers said.

The talented singers of Dhun Team included Amrisha, Bhavisha, Sonal, Shahroz, Srividhya, Sandeep, Sudhaker, Rajib, Vinay and Rajeev Singh, paired up with a live orchestra band, led by Shekhar.

Dr Avinash Gupta, and Rajeev Singh thanked temple volunteers and the committee “for their exceptional hard work and support,” the press release said.

They also thanked Padma Shri recipient Dr Sudhir Parikh, chairman of Parikh Worldwide Media and ITV Gold, who was also a special guest and media partner for continuous support and coverage of the event. Organizers thanked the DHUN group, all the Gurukul kids, sponsors, volunteers for their support, and Aarzu for catering the delicious dinner.
