New York: Author Shomik Chaudhuri has been honored with the 2024 International Impact Book Award for his book Some Whispers from Eternity, which explores the evolution of human consciousness and spiritual upliftment through OM Kriya Yoga. This ancient practice, practiced by revered figures like Lahiri Mahasaya and Paramahamsa Yogananda, is adapted in Chaudhuri’s work to make it accessible to modern practitioners.

Receiving the award in Phoenix, Arizona, Chaudhuri emphasized the critical juncture humanity faces: continuing down a path that could lead to self-destruction or fostering a global community united by love and spiritual growth. He believes that through elevating human consciousness, people will realize their interconnectedness and create a harmonious world.

Chaudhuri’s book provides detailed guidance on practicing OM Kriya Yoga, drawing from his personal spiritual journey. With over 30 years as a writer and a rich background in spirituality, including decades of practice and an initiation from Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajivlochanacharya, Chaudhuri aims to help individuals achieve spiritual enlightenment and fulfill their potential.
