Share and Care Kids4Kids Committee to host Pickleball Tournament at fundraiser in New Jersy

The Share and Care Foundation, established in 1982 in New Jersey, jointly with announced it is hosting an evening of sports, games, and philanthropy to support education initiatives while fostering community engagement.

Share & Care Foundation’s Kids4Kids (K4K) Committee announced its inaugural Pickleball Tournament and Community Celebration, scheduled for Sunday, November 17, 2024, from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. at the Hudson River Pickleball Club in Englewood, New Jersey.

“This innovative fundraising event combines athletic activity with family entertainment to raise funds” for education projects helping underprivileged children in India, organizers said in a Nov.8 press release.

The event offers multiple ways to participate, with tournament play tickets already sold out due to an overwhelming response.

Open Play opportunities provide participants access to coach-led mini-games and clinics, for beginners and those looking to enjoy the sport at their own pace. Guests can also access the event through General Admission tickets, which offer participants access to all non-pickleball activities.

“We encourage all of our participants to join regardless of age,” Rhea Shah, K4K president, is quoted saying in the press release. “We’re going to have many prizes and many fun activities, so please spread the word,” added Saisha Varaiya, K4K vice president.

The event will be held at Hudson River Pickleball Club, 456 Nordhoff Pl, Englewood, NJ 07631. All proceeds will support Share & Care’s signature education programs, which have helped thousands of underprivileged children in India access quality education, the reputed organization said.
