Sanya Malhotra’s film, Mrs, at Hawaii International Film Festival 2024

Sanya Malhotra’s new film, Mrs, has been officially selected to be screened at the 2024 edition of Hawaii International Film Festival (HIFF). This recognition highlights the compelling narrative of the film, as well as Sanya Malhotra’s prowess as a versatile performer.

Directed by auteur filmmaker Arati Kadav, Mrs, is a poignant exploration of resilience, with Sanya Malhotra portraying a character that will resonate deeply with audiences. Her portrayal has garnered critical acclaim as one of the most versatile actors of her generation.

The inclusion of Mrs in the lineup of the Hawaii International Film Festival is testimony to its universal appeal and artistic merit. Previously, the film was also an official selection at Palm Springs International Film Festival.

Written by Anu Singh Choudhary, the film co-stars Angad Bedi, Nishant Dahiya and Kanwaljeet Singh and is produced by Harman Baweja, Pammi Baweja and Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios.

The film is the Hindi remake of Jeo Baby’s critically-acclaimed Malayalam movie, The Great Indian Kitchen.
