Ranbir Kapoor to devote three years to Ramayana

Ranbir Kapoor will devote (pun intended!) three years to transforming for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, his celebrity fitness trainer, Shivohaam, has revealed, adding, “Nothing is ever achieved by taking shortcuts in life.”

Shivohaam shared a series of photos showcasing Ranbir Kapoor’s physical transformation, as per a report on bollywoodhungama.com, one of the leading entertainment portals.

Ranbir, is undergoing an rigorous training regime for the film. Shivohaam, who has trained other A-list actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Ram Charan, has revealed the actor’s sculpted physique, being honed over a demanding three-year training program.

The post also offers sheds light on his prep for another film, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal Park, sequel to the 2023 blockbuster Animal. Shivohaam emphasizes the importance of hard work and perseverance in achieving fitness goals. He highlights the need for “clarity and a vision of the end goal with a proper planned and structured program.”

He also adds, “Then again, if you didn’t have the WILL, DESCIPLINE, CONSISTENCY and the FIRE to achieve the goals, no amount of planning and structure will help. It was a beautiful journey and I wish you #ranbirkapoor all the best for the next blockbuster success #ramayana #ramayanthefilm.”

Ranbir has always been choosy about his work since his debut with Saawariya almost 17 years ago. Since that film, he has done only 19 more films in the lead! Of late, he has been on a lucky streak with hit after hit in Brahmastra, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar and Animal, each an unconventional but commercial film. Besides doing a few cameos, and after his stint as assistant director in Prem Granth, Aa Ab Laut Chalen and Black, he has also co-produced Jagga Jasoos and Brahmastra.
