Rajkummar Rao to reprise Paana Tipu in Guns & Gulaabs Season 2

Netflix India has announced the second season of their successful crime comedy series, Guns & Gulaabs, directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, and headlined by Rajkummar Rao.

Rajkummar will reprise his role of Paana Tipu, an obsessive lover and a reluctant heir to a ruling gang. Although when this second season will release on the streaming platform is yet to be determined, Rao’s dates are getting blocked for the shoot, which is set to begin in early 2024.

“We can hardly wait to see what the powerhouse performer Rao will bring to the table as the deadly gangster in the second season,” said a source working on the show.

The second season of Guns & Gulaabs will also bring Rajkummar and the Raj-DK team together for the third time as they had also written his 2018 film, Stree. He had previously said that he enjoyed working with the filmmaker duo because they create unconventional and out-of-the-box content. Rajkummar also won many Best Actor and Performer of the Year awards for the first season.
