Public Service Announcement: Applications invited for Know India Programme

The 21-day programme (November 24 to December 13, 2024) is designed for journalists aged 21 to 35 years and offers a unique chance to experience firsthand the stunning achievements of the new self-reliant India (Atmanirbhar Bharat).

Participants will witness the rapid developments across diverse sectors as part of India’s journey toward becoming a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) by 2047. The programme also facilitates professional networking, allowing them to connect with fellow journalists in India and engage in discussions about the evolving media landscape.

During their stay, participants will visit historical places of interest, explore India’s rich and diverse cultural traditions, and strengthen their connection with their ethnic roots.

Additionally, they will gain early insights into the upcoming 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD), scheduled for January 2025 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Their participation will contribute to disseminating information about this important event to PIOs, OCIs, and NRIs worldwide.

As participants, they will be required to pay only 10% of the air ticket cost.
