Project ‘Life, Saurashtra Medical & Educational Charitable trust, based in Rajkot, Gujarat, held an interactive session on the subject of women’s empowerment, January 31, 2025.

Participants included Rekha and Jay Gadhavi, Indian American community leaders from US, as well as Chandrakant Gadhavi, Ram Jamang, Mehul Jamang, Hemu Bavda, from Rajkot, and Devi Parekh from US.

The session was held jointly with Underprivileged Widows/Women at the Life Women Empowerment Centre, Junagadh.

A traditional welcome was bestowed on each of the participants in the interactive session.

The delegation visited the Life Women Empowerment Centre of Junagadh, speaking to the teachers and women learning different trades such as beautician skills, sewing training, embroidery, etc.
