Press conference on eve of movie ‘Political War’ release in US

At a Feb. 20, 2024 press conference at the Metropolitan Restaurant in Glen Cove, Long Island, New York, Mukesh Modi, producer and Director of ‘Political War’ spoke about why he made the movie being released in US Feb. 23. It was to spread awareness of what he called “continuous attack of overseas vested interests” on India and how to handle the challenges lying ahead of India. The movie was recently refused screening rights by the Censor Board of India. Among speakers at the press conference were Bobby Kumar, chairman Human Rights, Nassau County, and Founder of IDP; Mohan Wanchoo, entrepreneur and business leader; Vibhuti Jha, banker and television anchor; Vimal Goyal, president IDP 2024; Pradip Tandon, president, IALI; and Vikas Dhal, identified in the press release as a survivor of the 1984 riots against Sikhs in Delhi. Raj Dhingra from Bharat Republic, Pritpal Kaur from Preetnama TV, Sunil Hali from Aastha TV, Radio Zindagi, The Indian Eye Congratulated Mukesh Modi for making the movie. Dhingra, owner of Metropolitan, sponsored the event. Several news outlets including Parikh Worldwide Media/ITV Gold were present to cover the event.
