Power Couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone on Koffee With Karan Season 8’s first episode

The first episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8 drops on October 26 on Disney+Hotstar.

The beloved couch is back with its versatile host Karan Johar as Hotstar Specials’ Koffee with Karan returns for season 8. To spice up your life and bring you closer to your favorite stars, this time the conversations will be edgier, crazier and more candid. Dropping new episodes every Thursday exclusively on Disney+Hotstar, it promises viewers a whirlwind journey of getting up, close and personal with celebrities.

Being another awaited season, the first episode features star-couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, coming together for the first time ever on the Koffee couch, spilling the beans on their marriage, the proposal and more.

Karan asks the two if they are secretly engaged and Ranveer has no qualms in admitting, “In 2015, I had proposed to her, isske pehle ki koi aur aa jaaye main jaake chappal rakh deta hoon (I will place my slippers there before anyone else does)!”

Deepika Padukone reveals, “I am married to Rocky Randhawa” when asked if she would date Rocky Randhawa, Ranveer’s quirky character in Karan’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani.

Moreover, asked who she shares a good chemistry with other than her husband, Deepika says, “I think I have amazing chemistry with Hrithik Roshan, which everyone is going to see in our film to come, Fighter!”. Ranveer takes this as an opportunity to mimic Hrithik, leaving us wanting to know more.
