OFBJP holds sacred prayers seeking blessings for Modi and BJP’s success in Indian elections

Volunteers from Overseas Friends of Bharatiya Janata Party, OFBJP, led by its President Dr. Adapa Prasad, held havan ceremonies around the US to seek divine blessings for BJP and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s victory in the ongoing general elections. The Sudarshana Homam was held at the Sri Shiva Vishnu Temple, Sai Datta Peetham in Edison, NJ, April 28, 2024.

“The homam is a sacred and intricate ritual aimed at invoking divine energies for protection, prosperity, and spiritual fulfillment,” a press release from OFBJP noted. During the ceremony, participants recited the Sudarshana Mantra to invoke the protective and purifying energies associated with Lord Sudarshana.

Hundreds of Modi and BJP supporters participated in the homam.

Prasad commended the efforts of OFBJP volunteers in organizing the homams, stating that these sacred rituals evoke spiritual strength and symbolize a collective determination to support BJP’s vision for a prosperous India under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.

Padma Shri recipient Dr. Sudhir Parikh, chairman of Parikh Worldwide Media and ITV Gold, based in Edison, NJ, also addressed the gathering.

Krishna Reddy expressed confidence that with divine blessings, BJP and Modi would achieve a resounding victory in the elections.

Charan Singh highlighted the strong support from the NRI community.

Kalpana Shukla praised Modi’s tireless efforts for the betterment of people in India and globally.

Deep Bhatt highlighted the excitement among youth to support Modi.

Santosh Reddy noted that thousands of people were heading to India for the campaign. Vilas Reddy described it as a unified expression of support and aspiration, reflecting the collective hope for a resounding BJP victory under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.

The event drew participation from the Indian diaspora across New Jersey, with prominent community leaders and volunteers such as Dr. Parikh, Jayesh Patel, K Narula, Maa Rajyalaxmi, Gunjan Mishra, Harry Sethi, Madhukar Reddy, Ganesh R. Govindraj, Srikanth Reddy, Sanil, Gopi, and many others.
