The Consul General of India in New York Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, met the head of the New York Stock Exchange at a reception held for America’s 250th birthday.

“CG @binaysrikant76 had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Sharon Y. Bowen, Chair of the Board of Directors of the New York Stock Exchange (@NYSE ), during the NYSE Reception and Dinner commemorating America’s 250th Anniversary and the International Naval Review in New York City,” the Indian Consulate posted on X.com.

“The New York Stock Exchange traces its origins to the Buttonwood Agreement signed by 24 stockbrokers on May 17, 1792, as a response to the first financial panic in the young nation,” notes the NYSE.com website.
