New York Congresswoman to kick off bus tour for Biden-Harris team

Congresswoman Grace Meng, D-New York, whose district includes Queens where a substantial number of Indian-Americans and South Asians live, is being joined by Michigan State Senator Stephanie Chang to host a virtual bus tour to mobilize Asian-American and Pacific Islander voters in Michigan

During the Tuesday, Oct.13, 2020, virtual tour, the speakers will discuss the impact and importance of AAPI voters in this election, a press release from the Biden campaign said.

This tour stop will highlight Joe Biden’s Build Back Better Plan, and how a Biden-Harris administration would advance racial equity in the economy for the AAPI community.

With early in-person voting in Michigan underway, this event will also focus heavily on the importance of getting registered and voting early, organizers said.
