Netflix’s The Fame Game streams from February 25

Netflix is set to release its series, The Fame Game, on February 25, which they term  “a sophisticated mix of emotions, drama and entertainment.”

The family drama stars Madhuri Dixit Nene as Anamika Anand, along with Manav Kaul, Sanjay Kapoor, Lakshvir Saran and Musskaan Jaferi. Experience the complexities that come with the glitz and glam of stardom, as Netflix and Dharmatic Entertainment come together for a series that is entertaining, has a gripping storyline and a stellar cast.

Produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra with Sri Rao as showrunner and writer, and Nisha Mehta as Supervising Producer, the series is directed by Bejoy Nambiar and Karishma Kohli.

Hindi film icon Anamika Anand is one of the most famous women in the world. When this loving wife and mom suddenly vanishes without a trace, the question “Where is Anamika?” quickly turns into “Who is Anamika?” as the perfectly- crafted facade of her life is stripped away, uncovering hidden truths and painful lies in the life of a global superstar. The series marks Madhuri’s debut on the web and is her first film with Sanjay Kapoor after Raja (1995) and home production Mohabbat (1997) over two decades ago.
