Dr. Parikh reminded CM Chouhan about their previous interaction, and asked him about the state of medical care and infrastructure in MP. “As a medical doctor I am affiliated with a lot of teaching institutions like Columbia, NYU, Harvard. And these institutions want very much to have a presence in India,” he said speaking in both English and Hindi, which would help uplift India’s health care system greatly to make it just like Western countries.”

He asked for details about the medical device manufacturing center built in Madhya Pradesh, and who should be approached in regard to participating in that endeavor.

Chief Minister said he still fondly remembers his visit to the U.S. and is keen to meet again, and especially in the upcoming PBD in Indore. He invited Dr. Parikh to come to Indore so that they could discuss matters and possibly make a concrete announcement.
