Love to get a major reboot with Ishq Vishk Rebound

Tips Films Limited has produced some nostalgia-inducing hits like Coolie No. 1, Jeet, Raja Hindustani, Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, Kachche Dhaage, Raaz and the Race franchise. Now, the studio is set to reboot one of its best money-spinning productions, Ishq Vishk (2003), which introduced Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao with Shenaz Treasurywala.

Throwing it back to 2003 for all of us, Tips Films Limited is set to produce the second installment of the film. The sequel, Ishq Vishk Rebound, which stars a fresh ensemble cast with Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan (daughter of compose Rajesh Roshan and cousin to Hrithik Roshan), Jibraan Khan and Naila Grewal, has hit the floors already.

Speaking about Ishq Vishk Rebound, producer Ramesh Taurani said, “Taking on a whole different perspective on the Gen-Z dating culture, Ishq Vishk Rebound will upgrade our new-age idea of love. The casting for the film is just perfect and we are having a great time shooting for the film.”

Directed by Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari, of the recent Marathi film Mee Vasantrao fame, Ishq Vishk Rebound will be co-produced by Jaya Taurani under the banner of Tips Films Limited.
