Those gathered raised $50,000 at the fundraiser, displaying the level of support that Gov. Murphy has received as he campaigns for his re-election this November.

Those attending said they were happy with the Governor’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic in New Jersey, and how the pandemic was controlled for residents of the state.

They wanted to promote his candidacy, they said.

Gov. Murphy addressed the gathering laying out his agenda and praised the community for its contributions to the state.
The Murphy campaign has highlighted its performance during Covid. While  acknowledging the price paid in lost lives, the campaign says “Phil Murphy faced up to the challenge from the very beginning, following the data and science to help New Jersey get through the worst of the pandemic. He has always been straight with New Jerseyans about the harsh realities facing the state while providing clearly-defined safety measures and consistent guidance on the steps being taken to address the state’s challenges.”
