Indian-American International Chamber of Commerce meets India’s Ambassador

A delegation from the Indian American International Chamber of Commerce (IAICC) met with Indian Ambassador to the United States Taranjit Sandhu, on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at the Embassy of India in Washington DC.

The delegation headed by IAICC President & CEO KV Kumar discussed strategies with Ambassador Sandhu on ways to collaborate on matters important to the Embassy, and the Government of India, a press release from the organization said.

The delegation appreciated Ambassador Sandhu’s leadership in organizing and coordinating relief efforts from the U.S. side to help fight the second wave of COVID in India.

Ambassador Sandhu said IAICC can help in sectors such as healthcare, energy, digital IT, and knowledge and education partnerships, as these areas provide numerous opportunities for American companies to partner with India.

Minister (Community Affairs) at the Embassy Anurag Kumar, as well as Counsellor (Political) & SA to Ambassador Suja K. Menon, and First Secretary (Political) Vasudev Ravi, were also present during the meeting.

Vishnudatta Jayaraman – IAICC communications director & liaison to the Embassy of India, Washington DC
