India Republic Day Observed On Long Island

The Indian-American community of Long Island at the Republic Day celebrations hosted by Supervisor Anthony J. Santino at the Hempstead Town Hall, Jan. 26. A flag hoisting was held to mark the occasion. The township also hosted a cultural program and reception to commemorate India’s 68th Republic Day.
