India approves proposals for defence equipment worth over $500 million

NEW DELHI (Reuters) – India’s government said on Tuesday it has approved three proposals worth 42.76 billion rupees ($523.03 million) to purchase equipment for its army and navy.

($1 = 81.7550 Indian rupees)
