Himani Chavda conducts Happiness Workshop for Bharatiya Seniors in Chicago

The community organization, Bharatiya Seniors of Chicago, BSC, held its monthly general meeting July 20, 2024 at ‘Rana Regan Center’ Carol Stream, Illinois, near Chicago. It was attended by more than 650 members and supporters, according to attendee Jayanti Oza, who shared details and photos with Desi Talk.

Rashila Dobaria, BSC secretary, jumpstarted the event with a prayer.

The highlight of the event was Himani Chavda who conducted the ‘Love You Zindgi’ Happiness Workshop for more than 3 hours. She was welcomed by Dobaria. The workshop aimed at helping those present learn how to cope with problems and live a happy, worry-free life. Chavda used fun and games to conduct her workshop. She also informed attendees of her future projects.

Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, Gujarat’s former Minister of Higher and Technical Education, was welcomed by BSC executive members Madarsang Chavda. He said he was overjoyed by the hundreds of people attending the event.

Other special guests who attended included Vanessa Scott James, Director Of Strategic Communications and EngagementIllinois Attorney General’s Office, who was welcomed by BSC President Hari Patel. She dwelt on issues of child and elder abuse and ways to prevent those crimes.
