Hema Malini releases devotionals for Janmasthami

For the sacred occasion of Janmashtami (September 6) , Hema Malini along with Bhajan Ratna Kavi Narayan Agrawal ‘Das Narayan’ has released a bhajan—Jhoola jhoole Radha rani along with a mantra, Hari Hari bol. These compositions are composed by Vivek Prakash. This spiritual musical offering is a tribute to Lord Krishna and the eternal love story of Radha and Krishna.

The actress, a devotee of Lord Krishna, has sung devotionals before as well, and has tried to transcend the mundane and connect listeners to a divine realm. She said, “Hari Hari bol and Jhoola jhoole Radha rani hold a special place in my heart, as they allow me to channel my love for Lord Krishna through music. Singing these has been a spiritually-enriching experience, and I hope that the devotion the songs carry touch the souls of all those who listen, just as they have touched me. Kavi Narayan Agrawal ‘Das Narayan’ is a name synonymous with devotional music, having penned numerous bhajans.
