Global Strategic Alliance along with several organizations launches GSA Metro City sequels

On July 6, 2023, the Global Strategic Alliance (GSA), in partnership with GLOBALE Eye, American Multi Ethnic Coalition, Indian American Business Coalition USA, GSA India @75Expo USA Metro Cities Sequel 2023, and Global International Institute for Leadership, announced the launch of their GSA Metro City sequels 2023.

The event, held at the Medstar Auditorium, recognized individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities. It also marked the India @ 75 Expo USA as the most impactful event of the year, organizers said in a press release.

It came after the two-day curtain raiser in September 2022 and the three day event in December 2022, which framed the theme of “Made in India -Made for the world” a goal reiterated by  Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Ronald Regan center during his State Visit June 2, 2023.

The same goals were covered by Global Strategic Alliance in 2022 by Dr. Vijay Prabhakar founder and president GSA @ 75 EXPO USA.

Executive Director Shivam Viswanathan in the presence of several community leaders, Congressman Jonathan Jackson, D-Illinois, Consul General of India at Chicago Somnath Ghosh, Dr Bharat Barai, Bhailal Patel announced the metro city sequel 2023 scheduled to happen in Atlanta, GA; New York, NY; Austin TX; Phoenix, AZ; Los Angeles, CA; Detroit, MI; which will be held through the Amrit Kaal.

Mohita Sukumar, secretary general of GSA India @ 75 Expo USA Metro City Sequel, Mrs Global Eye GSA 2022, was the emcee for the July 6 event.

Viswanathan welcomed attendees. Neil Khot, corporate vice president of GSA India @ 75 Expo USA Metro City Sequel 2023, shared opening remarks, highlighting the significance of the event.

Vijay Muralidharan, Illinois State Chair of IABC-USA, reflected on GSA India @ 75 Expo capturing the spirit of the occasion.

Acharya Rohit Joshi, MEATF councilman, conducted a special prayer and blessing.

The highlight of the event was the prestigious “50 Years of Community Service Award” presented to Bhailal M. Patel, described in the press release as an outstanding and dedicated activist and veteran of Eminent Overseas Indians, who has displayed unwavering commitment to serving India and the Indian community since 1973. He is also Executive Vice President of Parikh Worldwide Media, LLC, and ITV Gold, as well as the Managing Broker of RE/MAX.

Amar Uphadhyay, AMEC commissioner, proposed a toast to honor Bhailal Patel, followed by Congressman Jonathan Jackson presenting a commemorative celebration plaque.

Bhailal Patel also received felicitations from Sohan Joshi, Kanti Patel, FIA trustee, and Dr. Rashmi Patel, FIA 1980 President. In his response, he expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the officials of Global Strategic Alliance (GSA), GLOBALE Eye, and all its partners, including individuals, Chairman Dr. Ajit Pant, President Dr. Vijay Prabhakar, Neil Khot, Neel Karna, Shivam V, Mohita Sukumar, Seeta Bala, and M. Kanpathy.

He thanked all those who presented him the honors, including the Award Trophy presented by Consul General Somnath Ghosh.

He praised the various organizations that have played a pivotal role in facilitating his community service. These organizations include Gujarat Cultural Association Chicago, ISKCON Chicago, Federation of Indian Association (FIA) Chicago, Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago, National Federation of Indian American Associations (NFIA), Indo-American Dem Organization Chicago (IADO, Chicago), National Indian American Public Policy Institute, ISKCON Foundation, Vishwa Gujarati Samaj Ahmadabad Bharat (INDIA), and Sardar Sri Vallabhbhai Patel Trust Allahabad, UP, India.

The event also featured a special address on “Industry 4.0” by Prof. Dr. M. Arumugam, chairman and founder of Broadline Technologies in Chennai, India. Dr. Arumugam, a distinguished professional in the software industry has been at the forefront of innovation.

Seeta Bala, Awards Jury Chair, presented the prestigious Pride of India Awards to Dr. Bharat Barai, Prof Dr. M. Arumugham,  Bhailal Patel.

Dr Bharat Barai an Oncologist-Hematologist and the Medical Director of the Cancer Institute at Methodist Hospitals in Indiana, was recognized for his remarkable achievements in the medical field and his philanthropic endeavors, along with his roles as the former President and current trustee of the Federation of Indian Association (FIA) Chicago and the former chairman and current trustee of Manav Seva Mandir in Bensenville, IL.

Congressman Jackson delivered the closing remarks. Dr. Ajit Pant, chairman of GSA India @ 75 Expo USA, presented an overview of the Expo, highlighting its significance in driving progress and growth. Consul General Ghosh delivered remarks underscoring the importance of such events in fostering collaboration and celebrating achievements.

The leadership team of GSA India was acknowledged, and applauded for their exceptional contributions. Prabhakar expressed appreciation for the officials and organizations involved in recognizing and honoring outstanding individuals.
