FISANA Welcomes New President Suresh Patel

Suresh Patel, a dedicated community leader, who has been actively involved in community services for over 15 years, has been elected president of FISANA.

He is also currently serving as the president of the Bridgewater Seniors Association. Patel’s roots in New Jersey date back to 40 years ago when he immigrated from India.

After initially establishing his own business, Patel decided to retire and shift his focus to giving back to the community, particularly supporting senior citizens.

FISANA(Federation of Indo-American Seniors Association of North America) serves as an umbrella organization representing nearly 20 senior associations, and it organizes a variety of events throughout the year to enhance the well-being of seniors.

These events include summer picnics, domestic trips, Diwali celebrations, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day programs, musical performances, and more. These events are made possible thanks to the generous support of sponsors and volunteers.

Along with Suresh Patel, Piyush Patel has been elected as the new Chairperson of FISANA. Piyush Patel, a leading entrepreneur, will continue to provide vital financial and physical support to the senior community.

The organization’s leadership team also includes Dr. Mukund Thakar, Subhash Doshi, and Rati Patel, who will serve as Vice Chairs and continue their invaluable contributions.

Suresh Patel encourages other senior associations to join FISANA and strengthen its voice, both socially and politically, for the benefit of senior citizens. By uniting, the organization aims to provide a strong and collective voice for seniors, advocating for their needs and interests.

FISANA will be hosting an exciting Gujarati drama event on March 23rd at the Bridgewater Balaji Temple, featuring the renowned actress Ketki Dave.
