The Indian Consulate in New York hosted a panel discussion January 17, 2025, on “The Emerging India Opportunity” jointly with the American India Foundation, as well as Entry India LLC and Corridor Connect.
The discussion focused on business and investment opportunities in India, zeroing in on healthcare, investments, startups, and venture capital.
The panel, consisting of Amrit Singh (Loop Health), Vishnu Swaminathan (Advisor, Next Bharat Ventures), Akash Bhatia and Vir Kashyap (Zeetah Ventures), was moderated by Kalpana Kanthan of AIF.
Panelists explored India’s startup ecosystem, financial strengths, talent hub, social capital and culture. The discussion highlighted why this generation is optimistic about India’s entrepreneurs and the role of the US-India economic partnership.
“India is shaping up to be a hub for innovation and opportunity!” tweeted the Indian Consulate in its post on X.
