Dhruv Prakash wins championship in nationwide competition for Future Business Leaders of America

Dhruv Prakash, a 12^th grader from Middleton High School in Madison, Wisconsin, became the National Champion in the 2023 Competition for Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) held in Atlanta, Georgia June 30, 2023. The Topic for the Finals was ‘Banking and Financial Systems’ and Prakash beat out some 200 students from high schools across the US.

On his Linkedin profile, before he graduated from high school, Prakash says, “As a current junior in high school, I am always looking for new ways to challenge myself. I strive for academic excellence both in and out of the classroom with an intense course load and many extracurricular activities.” In high school, Prakash took Advance Placement (AP) courses in Biology, Calculus, and Comparative Government and Politics.

He graduated from Middleton with outstanding academic achievements and has gained admission in George Washington University, in Washington, D.C., for a double major in International Relations and Data Science, Class of 2027, according to information provided by the family. He has been awarded the Dean’s Fellowship.
His parents Dr Amitha Domalpally and Dr. Prakash Balasubrahmanyan who are alumni of Christian Medical College, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, are physicians practicing in Madison, Wisc.
