The Governor of Connecticut Ned Lamont is on a visit to India to explore potential business opportunities for his state.

Prior to his visit, Gov. Lamont met India’s Consul General in New York Binaya Srikanta Pradhan. During his visit, Gov. Lamonth posted on X about his plans and meetings.

“After a productive meeting with Consul General of India, @binaysrikant76, in Connecticut, I’m now in India to strengthen our ties and explore new opportunities. Kicking off at VentureClash at IIT Madras with Connecticut Innovations’ recruiting event and pitch showcase!” Gov. Lamonth tweeted.

At least three Indian Americans were in the delegation that accompanied Gov. Lamont to India.
