Care & Share Foundation Provides Vital Support with Ramadan Care Package Drive

Hundreds of Families in Central NJ Receive Essential Food Packages for the Holy Month

New Jersey – February 24, 2025. In the spirit of generosity and community support, the Care & Share Foundation (CSF), a New Jersey-based nonprofit organization, has successfully completed its annual Ramadan Care Package Drive for (Islamic 1446)/2025. This initiative, aimed at providing essential food supplies to families in need, saw the distribution of 300 care packages across Central New Jersey, ensuring that struggling households could observe the holy month of Ramadan with dignity and without the burden of food insecurity.

Each carefully curated care package, valued at approximately $150, contained 24 jumbo-sized essential food items—enough to sustain a family for the entire month. The distribution was completed on February 22, 2025, a full week before the start of Ramadan. This early distribution allowed families to focus on their spiritual growth and worship, rather than worrying about securing daily meals.

“The month of Ramadan is a time for reflection, devotion, and generosity,” said a representative from CSF. “Through this initiative, we aim to ease the financial burden on families and ensure that no one has to struggle for basic necessities during this sacred period.”

The success of this initiative was made possible through the unwavering support of donors who contributed via Zakat, Sadaqah, and general donations. The foundation prides itself on its 100% donation policy, ensuring that every dollar given goes directly to those in need, with no administrative costs deducted.

“This initiative is a true reflection of the power of community giving. Every contribution, big or small, played a vital role in making a difference,” the organization shared.
