The spiritual organization, Brahma Kumaris Silicon Valley, Milpitas, which has been serving the Bay Area for more than 28 years, held a joyful inauguration of its new Om Shanti Meditation Center on June 22, 2024, in the presence of Sister Mohini and Sister Jayanti, dignitaries, and other administrative heads of the Brahma Kumaris. The BKSV is led by Sister Kusum Kejriwal.

In a press release, the organization said the Brahma Kumaris is the largest spiritual organization in the world led by women, with more than 9,000 centers in more than 115 countries and over one million active students. “For over 80 years, their leaders have embodied unwavering courage and steadfast faith, fostering unity and working towards a better world,” the press release added.

The ‘Om Shanti Meditation Center’ “has been built with heartfelt enthusiasm and good wishes to share the transformative benefits of Rajayoga meditation with the local community,” organizers said.

The center welcomes individuals of all religious and cultural backgrounds to explore spirituality, reflection, and meditation skills. It will also offer spiritual retreats, personal development series, and value-based education for children. The aim is to empower individuals to discover and embody their best selves, the press release said.

The Center is open to the public so that they can explore what is offered first hand, and an Open House is also scheduled. “Whether you’re seeking stress relief, inner peace, spiritual growth, their serene environment and knowledgeable guides can support you,” the Center said.
