Westmont IL;The Association of South Asian Real Estate Professionals (ASARP) hosted its much-anticipated Christmas Party on December 13, 2024, uniting over 50 members and guests for an evening of festive cheer, camaraderie, and reflection. The event was a resounding success, capturing the true spirit of the season with joy, warmth, and togetherness—values that lie at the heart of ASARP. The Association of South Asian Real Estate Professionals (ASARP) is dedicated to empowering real estate professionals through collaboration, networking, and professional development. ASARP strives to create opportunities, overcome challenges, and celebrate the accomplishments of its members while fostering a strong sense of community.

A Festive Celebration with Heart 

The celebration took place in a beautifully decorated venue that set the perfect tone for the evening. Guests were treated to a memorable experience, complete with a delightful ambiance, exquisite cuisine, and impeccable organization. The evening’s success was credited to the dedication and meticulous efforts of Sunita Kakarlapudi (ASARP President), Shirin Marvi (Past President), Nick Verma, and Marsha Collins, whose teamwork ensured the event’s flawless execution.

Words of Wisdom and Inspiration

A highlight of the evening was a moving and inspirational speech by Pradeep B Shukla, ASARP Chairman, who eloquently reflected on the values of perseverance, generosity, and community. Some notable excerpts include: Christmas is not just a festive occasion; it is a reminder of the light we carry within us and the warmth we can extend to others ,As a community of real estate professionals, we have not just stared at challenges; we have built bridges, overcome obstacles, and created opportunities for others to thrive.” Drawing inspiration from Rabindranath Tagore, Mr. Shukla reminded everyone,you can’t cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water.In the spirit of Christmas, he also shared a timeless quote from Charles Dickens , for it is good to be children sometimes, and never better than at Christmas, when its mighty Founder was a child Himself.The speech concluded with heartfelt gratitude for ASARP’s team and a call to embrace hope and renewed commitment in the coming year.

Trivia, Fun, and Holiday Cheer

The evening featured a fun-filled trivia session that added laughter and excitement to the festivities. Guests enjoyed quirky questions, such as estimating the value of the iconic Home Alone house in Winnetka, IL, and learning about unique Christmas traditions from around the world. Stacey Mathis, Niti Shah, and rising professional Ria Kakarlapudi brought the games to life with their energy and creativity. Matt Ingersol added his touch to the night with brilliant photography, capturing moments to cherish.
