Artist Manoj Vyas to exhibit paintings in New York Art Expo

New York based artist Manoj Vyas will exhibit his multi-media paintings at the New York Art Expo 2023, to be held March 30 through April 2, 2023 at the Pier 36 in Manhattan at Booth 408, 417, and 419 of Art Mudra.

Vyas has been painting since the age of six, and experimenting with different media to create unique and evocative art. Art has been his life force to which he has devoted many long hours in the midst of his job and other responsibilities.

An alumni of Mumbai’s famous J.J. School of Arts, Vyas has been using his skills as a commercial artist in newspaper art rooms, first in Mumbai at the Janmabhoomi Publications, and then in New York at the India Abroad Newspapers.

Vyas has traveled to art centers and art exhibits in London, Rome, Barcelona, and other cities in Europe to witness works of artists who have inspired him. Experimenting with different media including oil, watercolor, wood, jewelry, and more, he has created 3-D art on special assignments. Vyas’s painting ‘Bajirao Mastani’, drawn much before the film of the same name, is a study in intricate details. Vyas is famous for his portraits of famous personalities including Lata Mangeshkar.

Vyas’s paintings will be exhibited as part of acquisitions from New Delhi based Art Mudra. Headed by Daxa Khandwala, creator and curator, Art Mudra brings art sourced from India to global buyers and art collectors, and is considered an important participant at art exhibits and expos in the world.

New York Art Expo is organized by the Redwood Art Group who has been leaders in connecting art collectors, art galleries and artists.
