Anil Kapoor announces schedule wrap for Subedaar, shares pictures

Anil Kapoor has announced a schedule wrap for Subedaar, and has shared BTS pictures on his social media.

Anil, who recently began shooting for his new film, also penned a heartfelt caption: “From dreams to reality, from vision to creation—Subedaar takes shape with dedication and heart! Schedule wrapped, but the magic is just beginning. Grateful for the team, the passion, and the journey.”

The story of Subedaar revolves around Arjun Maurya (Anil Kapoor), a former soldier adjusting to life as a civilian. As he faces personal and societal challenges, he must mend his strained relationship with his daughter, Shyama (Radhikka Madan), while battling his inner struggles.

Directed by Suresh Triveni and produced by him along with Vikram Malhotra and Anil Kapoor, the film will premiere on Prime Video.

This year has been monumental for Anil. Following his box-office success with Fighter, he was named in the TIME100AI list for his advocacy against AI misuse. His acclaimed series, The Night Manager, earned a nomination for Best Drama Series at the 2024 International Emmy Awards, and he also won an IIFA Award for his performance in Animal.

From his generation of actors (who started out in the first half of the 1980s), Anil remains the most in-demand actor for major leads.
