American India Foundation raises $2.2 million at gala in California

The American India Foundation, a leading organization involved in numerous development projects in India, raised a whopping $2.2 million in its recent fundraising gala held in San Francisco.

“We wrapped up our2023 Bay Area Gala with an unforgettable evening of “Designing Bold Futures” at San Francisco City Hall–you had to be there!” the organization said in its latest newsletter.

During the Gala, the AIF honored Raj Mathai, NBC Bay Area News Anchor. Also present at the Gala was Gala Chair Vivek Ranadivé, owner and chairman of Sacramento Kings.

“We closed the night raising $2.2 million–the highest grossing Bay Area Gala in AIF history! We couldn’t have done it without our supporters and sponsors, the AIF CA Board, and the AIF Global Board,” the organization said.
