Akshay Kumar announces ensemble cast of Housefull 5

It will be the first Hindi movie that goes into the fifth round.

Akshay Kumar has given fans a first look at the star-studded cast of his highly- anticipated comedy, Housefull 5. In an Instagram post that quickly went viral, the actor shared a photo from the film’s set, showcasing himself with the other cast members—Jacqueline Fernandez, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan and Dino Morea.

Akshay captioned the image, “Just another day with this incredible cast. Housefull of actors, one cruise, and endless stories to tell!” The fun-filled snapshot captured the playful energy fans have come to expect from the Housefull franchise. While Akshay, Riteish, Dino and Abhishek opted for casual looks, Jacqueline was adorned in an all-black ensemble.

Housefull 5 has been generating buzz for months, especially with the announcement of its stellar lineup. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has confirmed the inclusion of leading actresses Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangda Singh and Soundarya Sharma as well, amplifying the film’s star power.

The fifth installment of the beloved franchise is set to release in theatres on June 6, 2025. Tarun Mansukhani directs and also scripts the film with Farhad Samji, who had directed and co-written the fourth film (2019), co-directed and co-written the third (2016) and co-written the second (2012).

While Jacqueline had starred in the first three films (in the first in a cameo), Abhishek and Nargis were a part of the third. Akshay and Riteish are common to all five. Chunky Panday, as a character artiste, Aakhri Pasta, in all four, is likely to be in here as well.
