After Animal, Anil Kapoor set to thrill in Fighter

Anil Kapoor continues to deliver solid performances film after film. After Jug Jugg Jeeyo last year and the series The Night Manager, he portrays a fighter pilot in the highly-anticipated 2024 film, Fighter. Marflix Pictures and Siddharth Anand released the teaser of their ambitious aerial action film in which Anil’s character of Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh, is receiving raves.

Fresh off the success of Animal, fans eagerly anticipate the actor to create magic again—this time, so to speak, in the skies. Earlier this week, the actor took to Instagram to reveal his character’s name and rank in the fighter pilot drama set to release on January 25 next year.

Playing this character is a tribute to real-life heroes, Anil feels, and he adds that he is blessed to portray a symbol of bravery on screen. The icon took to his social media handle to share the thrilling teaser, captioned, “Udaan bhare to jeet ke liye, Jaan jaaye to desh ke liye (If I take flight, it is to win, if I die, it is for the country). #Fighter Forever #FighterTeaser out now. #FighterOn25thJan”

The film co-stars Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in a first-time pairing, and the music is by Vishal-Sheykhar.
