Special Screening of Amaran for serving personnel and families

Team Amaran organized a special screening of the upcoming biopic on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan for Indian Army officers and families in New Delhi. The lead pair—Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi—and director Rajkumar Periasamy personally attended and interacted with the special audience and were humbled to receive their rave reviews. The team personally extended their gratitude to the soldiers and their loved ones for taking time out to see the film. The movie got an immense response from the audience for the authentic portrayal of an army officer and his family.

Speaking at the screening, Sivakarthikeyan said, “It’s a big salute to everyone in the Indian Army. I personally feel this film will be a great tribute to everyone and thank you so much for coming here.”

Sai Pallavi added, “To be honest, you all are the real heroes. We are merely tools to highlight your great work to a larger audience.”

Director Rajkumar Periasamy stated, “Amaran is a very personal film to me and it is slice-of-life. Not just one, but the lives of many, interwoven into one! To watch it will be an experience that will stay with you forever!”

Amaran is set to release in theaters nationwide soon. Produced by Kamal Haasan, alongside R. Mahendran and Sony Pictures International Production, it is written and directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. The film will be releasing globally on 31st October, 2024.
