Who’s Who among Indian Americans gather for leading public relations firm

With a veritable Who’s Who of the Indian American community in attendance, Neerja Public Relations held its 15^th anniversary October 1. 2024, at Radio Park, the rooftop of the iconic Radio City Music Hall in the heart of New York City.

The event brought together more than 200 guests according to a press release from the NPR. They included the likes of  celebrity chef Vikas Khanna, stand up comedian and screenwriter Zarna Garg, Actor Jugal Hansraj, Singer Jefrey Iqbal, Broadway Actors Shoba Narayan and Nikhil Saboo, reality star and author  Aparna Shewakramani, Peloton yoga instructor and actor, Aditi Shah, food blogger Palak Patel, host and producer at The Hollywood Reporter, Neha Joy, Marie Claire’s Entertainment Director, Neha Prakash and others.

Neerja Patel runs the eponymous company which aims to promote and expand “the reach of Indians across multiple verticals, from travel, entertainment, hospitality, beauty, fashion, and non-profits focused on giving back to India,” the press release said. It added that Patel has managed the PR of chef Khanna for the launch of his restaurant Bungalow, Bollywood – Hollywood Ace publicist Rohini Iyer, fashion designer Payal Singhal, comedians such as Zarna Garg, Vir Das, Rajiv Satyal, Sugar Sammy, and Papa CJ for their comedy tours, among others.

“Patel has always focused on making Indian culture more accessible and integrated,” the press release said, simultaneously helping expand American companies’ reach with Indian audiences for partners such as Disney, Shopify, and LinkedIn and expanding Indian companies’ reach in the US.
