Laughter Alert: Khichdi 2 – Mission Paanthukistan to release in Diwali

The highly-anticipated big-screen sequel to the terrific TV sitcom’s three seasons (beginning in 2002) and Khichdi—The Movie (2010) is set to release this Diwali.

Khichdi 2 – Mission Paanthukistan (a place for spitting the paan as per literal translation!) is all set to light up the silver screen and cause a tabla-tod (breaking the tabla, or side-splitting) laughter tsunami this festive season on November 17. Get ready to face the laughter shocks as the iconic Parekh family returns to entertain once again.

Khichdi2 – Mission Paanthukistan is written and directed by Aatish Kapadia and produced by Jamnadas Majethia(JD). It is an adventurous roller-coaster ride that explores new dimensions of the Parekh family’s dynamics led by the unbeatable Supriya Pathak Kapoor, Jamnadas Majethia (JD), Rajeev Mehta, Anang Desai, Vandana Pathak. Farah Khan Kunder, Kirti Kulhari, Pratik Gandhi, Anant Vidhaat, Pratik Gandhi, Paresh Ganatra and Kiku Sharda will be seen in cameos.

The film narrates the story of a mind-boggling sun of Rs. 5 crore (50 million) offered to the Parekh family to complete a certain mission, which results in hilarious misadventures.
