Executive Chairman of IAICC, KV Kumar, told News India Times, “The Convention will feature important sessions that are critical to US and India, and witness participation of important leaders from both countries.” Kumar noted that IAICC had postponed the Convention for the past two years due to the pandemic, and this forum will provide an opportunity for governments, businesses, and people to come together, interact, and mutually benefit.

Invited guests from US and India include President Joe Biden, Vice-President Kamala Harris, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy, Chairman of House Foreign Affairs Committee, Michael McCaul, Indian Ambassador to the United States, Taranjit Sandhu, Cabinet Ministers from India, US Secretaries and Congressional leaders, officials of key government agencies, and corporate representatives of business organizations from both countries.

“The Convention will highlight 30 years of IAICC’s work in promoting trade and commerce between India and US. It will especially look to broaden economic opportunities for the benefit of businesses,” IAICC Vice Chairman and Chairman of Mid-Atlantic Region, Shankar Rachakonda told News India Times.

According to him, the three-day program for the Convention will educate the delegates on key global issues. Referring to the agenda on day three, Chairman of IAICC Executive Board, Appen Menon, said, “The first session will be on successful Indian-Americans providing perspectives on how to succeed in business and corporate America, and the second session will delve into educating the delegates on key corporate, tax, and banking issues that should be taken into consideration while engaging in cross-border trade opportunities.”
