Punjabi Chamber of Commerce Holds Global Gala 2022

The Punjabi Chamber of Commerce (PCC) hosted its Global Gala at Hilton Meadowlands, New Jersey, on October 29, 2022. The Gala was the biggest event of the year for PCC.
It celebrated the coming together of more than 500 members from across the globe, “highlighting the remarkable efforts of business leaders and entrepreneurs in the Punjabi community,” a press release from the organization said.
The venue was decorated in rich warm colors of red and gold by the event curator Jyoti Soni.
Starting with the cocktail hour for networking with delicacies from Moghul Caterers, the attendees moved to the Grand Ballroom where Gurpreet S Pasricha, founding trustee of PCC, addressed the gathering, followed by other eminent speakers.
Speakers included Global Chief Data Officer at IBM , Inderpal Bhandari, who gave an interactive talk about data, digitalization and Artificial Intelligence and his experience in leading IBM’s data strategy, making it the number one in AI and hybrid cloud provider.
The keynote speaker for the evening was Savneet Singh, an award-winning software/SaaS CEO with expertise across retail, fintech and payments industries. As the CEO of PAR, Savneet originally began as a non-executive director serving on the audit and compensation committees. Later, he came into the company as CEO to begin the turnaround out of a distressed situation.
An inspiring woman speaker for the evening was Joti Balani, founder and managing director of Freshriver.ai, where she is a creative technology architect who leads innovations at Fortune 100 enterprises, designing and delivering complex enterprise, human and systemic transformations. She gave a compelling talk around AI, Data Science, Engineering and Social Sciences.

The last speaker was the young and dynamic Trishneet Arora, founder and CEO at TAC Security, Forbes 30 Under 30. Passionate about securing cyberspace, he started his entrepreneurial journey in 2013 at the age of 19. From there, under his leadership, TAC Security has been securing the world’s top brands.
The Emcee for the event was Shilpy Chawla.
Entertainment at the event was provided by popular musician Jazzy B, who engaged the audience with his foot-tapping Punjabi music: Gallan Kardi, Soorma, Patole, and so on. Also, DJ Kucha enlivened the evening with his announcements and the music.
The Punjabi Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization that facilitates global and local business communities with a Network Forum. It presently has more than 18 chapters spread across 5 countries and 4 continents.
Punjabi Chamber Foundation, its charitable arm raised funds during the pandemic period to support people in India and abroad. “We have a strict ‘No religion, No politics’ policy in place. We believe in Diversity & Inclusion,” the organization said in its press release.
