Photo: Universal PRAjay Devgn’s highly anticipated Bholaa, which is currently being shot in Hyderabad, is all set to disrupt the genre of action-packed Indian cinema. This is Devgn’s fourth directorial. Coming after the much-appreciated Runway 34, Bholaa is set to redefine action, as per Ajay’s visionary plans. Over three decades ago, Ajay rewrote the graph of action sequences when he entered astride two motorcycles in his debut film Phool Aur Kaante.

From then until today, his is the first name that jumps to mind when high-powered stunts are discussed or dissected. Devgn has now become synonymous with death-defying acts and daredevilry on screen, whether with his fave director Rohit Shetty or otherwise.

News that comes in from the sets of Bholaa is that this time around, Ajay has pushed the bar to an altogether new high. Each action sequence is being shot over 10 days. Not only have magnificent sets been created for the shoot, but the actor has partnered with award-winning action directors, Ramazan Bulut and R.P. Yadav to design some breathtaking sequences that will shock and awe the audience. Some of the best international technicians have also joined the Bholaa schedule.

Starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu in lead roles, the film is envisioned to be one of the biggest action films in Indian cinema. And, no stone is being spared to ensure that Ajay’s dream of bringing unseen stunts to the big screen is realized.

Ajay is set to wrap the principal photography by August 20, with the film being readied for release on March 30, 2023.

So watch out for a deadlier Devgn this time. After all, action flows in his veins. Bholaa is Devgn’s ode to his lineage of father stunt coordinator Veeru Devgan. It is a remake of the Tamil blockbuster Kaithi, which is now a part of a franchise.
